JHU Fall Job Fair Fuels Wuhan Talent Drive

JHU News —On September 25, Jianghan University hosted the 2025 "Gathering Talents in Wuhan" initiatve series events: the "Career Path to the Future" Autumn Campus Recruitment Fair for the Class of 2026. The fair attracted 277 enterprises offering 16,425 high-quality positions across education, finance, technology, pharmaceuticals, and other sectors. Jianghan University President Jing Xinhua, Vice President Li Weidong, and heads of relevant university departments engaged with employer representatives on site to match talent needs and actively promote graduate employment.

As a key event under Wuhan’s "Gathering Talents in Wuhan" project, this fair focused on the employment needs of the Class of 2026 and the talent acquisition goals of participating employers. Co-hosted by JHU and Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, the event was co-organized by JHU’s Admissions and Career Services Office, Graduate School, together with Wuhan Talent Service Center and Organization Department of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone Working Committee (Bureau of Human Resources).

On-site booths were set up for policy consultation, career guidance and resume review, delivering a "five-in-one" package of policy, positions, training, services and guidance. With the support of AI job-seeking kiosks, students optimized their resumes and conducted mock interviews – leveraging technology to clarify their career positioning and enhance their competitiveness.

Despite rainy weather, over 5,000 students attended the fair. Booths run by Neusoft (Wuhan), Hubei Dinglong Holdings, Hubei Sanning Chemical, Xiaomi Home, and Operation Management Department of China Construction Science and Industry Group, drew large crowds. By the close of the fair, more than 1,500 preliminary job offers were struck, achieving accurate and efficient matching between graduates and employers.

It is reported that in recent years, JHU has continuously advanced the "government-led platform, university-enterprise collaboration" model, improving job quality and employment services to help graduates land high-quality positions. Campus recruitment events bring these opportunities to their doorstep, empowering the development of young talents. Building on this event, JHU will deepen holistic integration between industry, education, and research, and improve its talent-matching and employment-support system. By linking student admissions, talent cultivation and employment guidance into one seamless chain. the university aims to enhance the quality of its self-reliant talent cultivation, power Wuhan’s economic and social development, and contribute JHU’s share to the building of this "Hero City".
