In the beautiful season when the spring breeze brings warmth and all things come back to life, the annual International Women's Day arrives. On March 7th, the Labor Union and the Communist Youth League Committee of the College of Life Sciences carefully prepared a unique gift for the female teachers - handmade flowers crafted from pipe cleaners. These hand-made flowers are different from ordinary fresh flowers. They were made by students, and each one is filled with the sincere feelings of youth and deep respect.
The process of making these pipe cleaner handmade flowers is not easy. The students spent a great deal of time and energy. They carefully selected various brightly colored pipe cleaners and skillfully bent, twisted, and wound them according to the morphological characteristics of different flowers. Each petal and each leaf contain the students' deep blessings and gratitude for the female teachers. Every step embodies the students' creativity from the initial conceptto the final product.
The students also thoughtfully tied carefully prepared greeting cards to each bouquet of handmade flowers. These cards were filled with their sincere wishes for the female teachers. One student wrote, 'Teacher, you are like this blooming flower, lighting up our study life with fragrance and beauty. Happy Women's Day to you!' Another student wrote,'Thank you for your hard work and careful guidance. You are the guide for our growth. May you always be young and beautiful!' These simple but affectionate words fully express the students' love and gratitude for the female teachers.
