QIN Daoming (覃道明)
Secretary of CPC Jianghan University Committee
Qin Daoming , PhD in Law, was born in Changyang, Hubei Province in November 1966. He is the Secretary of the CPC Jianghan University Committee and Vice Chairman of the Hubei Provincial Federation of Social Science Circles. He once served as Deputy Secretary-General of Hubei Provincial Government, Director of the Counselors’ Office of Hubei Provincial Government, Secretary and Director of the Party Leadership Group of Hubei Provincial Government Research Office and Vice President of Hubei Academy of Social Sciences, among other leadership positions.
JIJNG Xinhua (景新华)
Deputy Secretary of CPC Jianghan University Committee and President
Jing Xinhua, Master of Economics, was born in May 1966. He is a member of the 13th Wuhan Municipal Committee, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jianghan University Committee and the President. He once served as Deputy Secretary of CPC School of Economics Committee, Director of the Student Affairs Department of the CPC Wuhan University Committee, Director of the Organization Department and Deputy Inspector of the Wuhan Municipal Organization Department, Deputy Secretary and subsequently Secretary of the CPC Qiaokou District Committee, Qiaokou District Chief, and Director of the Standing Committee of the Qiaokou District People's Congress.
ZHANG Hongxing (张红星)

Zhang Hongxing, Doctor of Medicine, was born in Honghu, Hubei Province in October 1971. He is a postdoctoral fellow from the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, a chief physician, professor, and doctoral supervisor. He is currently a member of the CPC Jianghan University Committee and Vice President. He once served as Secretary and Director of the CPC Committee of Wuhan Municipal Health Commission, Director and Deputy CPC Party Secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission, President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Wuhan No. 1 Hospital (Wuhan Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine), and Deputy Mayor of Xiantao City, Hubei Province.
LI Weidong (李卫东)
Member of the CPC Jianghan University Committee and Vice President
Li Weidong, PhD in History, was born in Wuhan, Hubei Province in August 1971. He is a member of the CPC Jianghan University Committee, Vice President and Head of the Publicity Department of Jianghan University. He is a professor and postdoctoral fellow from the Institute of Law at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, majoring in the history of law and the history of modern Chinese cities. At Jianghan University, he once served as Deputy Director of the Huang Xing Research Institute, Dean of the Law School, Executive Deputy Director of the Urban Research Institute, Director of the Local Rule of Law Research Institute, and Executive Dean of the China Social Work Practice Research Institute.
JIA Yongsheng (贾永胜)

Jia Yongsheng, Doctor of Engineering, professor (Level II), and doctoral supervisor, was born in July 1970. He is currently a member of the CPC Jianghan University Committee and Vice President; he is also Director of the State Key Laboratory of Precision Blasting, Director of the Hubei Key Laboratory of Blasting Engineering, Chairman of Wuhan Blasting Co. Ltd. Executive Director of the China Society of Explosives and Blasting, Deputy Director of the Engineering Blasting Committee of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, President of the Hubei Society of Engineering Blasting, and editorial board member of magazines including Blasting and Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (JRMGE). He is an expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, an “Expert with Outstanding Contributions in Wuhan City and Hubei Province,” and a “Wuhan Outstanding Science and Technology Research Worker.” He specializes in research on explosion mechanics and precision control technology in blasting processes and has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award twice, three first prizes and one second prize of the Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress Award, along with one special prize and six first prizes of the Science and Technology Progress Award from the China Society of Explosives and Blasting. He has been granted ten invention patents, 16 utility model patents, and seven software copyrights. He has compiled three national-level construction methods, and published over 100 academic papers.
XIANG Yue (向悦)
Vice President of Jianghan University
Xiang Yue, BA in Chinese Language and Literature, was born in Yongshun, Hunan Province in June 1973. She is a non-partisan and Vice President of Jianghan University. She once served as Deputy District Chief of Jianghan District in Wuhan, Deputy District Chief and Chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) of Wuchang District in Wuhan, and Deputy Director of the Wuhan Municipal Government Counselor’s Office.
LIU Jiyan (刘继延)
Member of CPC Jianghan University Committee and Vice President
Liu Jiyan, Doctor of Science, Professor (Level II), doctoral supervisor, was born in September 1966. He is a member of the CPC Jianghan University Committee and Vice President of the university; he is also Vice Chairman of the Hubei Provincial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Society. He has long been engaged in the teaching and scientific research in the field of optoelectronic chemical materials and technology. He has won four provincial and ministerial teaching and scientific research awards, published over 200 papers, and had more than 40 national invention patents. The proprietary technologies he has developed includes the “Polyimide (PI) materials for transparent and flexible displays” and “Alkyl hypophosphite flame retardants for optoelectronic products.” Both have been successfully implemented in the industrial production in enterprises, breaking the monopolies of foreign companies. He has been honored with titles including “Expert with Outstanding Contributions in Hubei Province”, “Advanced Worker of Hubei Province,” and “ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent of Hubei Province.”
LI Jincai (李进才)
Honorary President of Jianghan University
Li Jincai, Honorary President and professor of Jianghan University, is born in Yiyang, Hunan Province. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Wuhan University in 1962. He has successively held positions including Deputy Director of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education (MOE), Vice President and professor at Wuhan University, President of Jianghan University, Deputy Director of the MOE Guidance Committee on Teaching Chinese Language, Deputy Director of the National College Teaching Evaluation Expert Committee, Deputy Director of the University Program Setting Evaluation Committee, Deputy Director of the Guidance Committee on University Students’ Cultural Quality Education, Member of the University Setting Evaluation Committee, and Member of the Higher Education Group of the Educational Science Planning Leadership Group. As an influential expert in higher education, he has presided over and participated in national teaching assessments, university and program setting assessments, and disciplinary planning work multiple times.
He is Vice President of the Hubei Poetry Society and President of the Wuhan Poetry and Couplet Society, aiming to promote Chinese poetry culture, and has received the “Changchun Cup” Poetry Education Award of the Hubei Jingchu Poetry Circle. He has authored and edited 18 academic works including Perspectives on Higher Education in the Century, Direction, Goal, Strategy—Outline of the School Running Direction of Higher Education Institutions in the New Era, and Utilizing the Capital Market to Promote Higher Education, and has published two poetry collections: Chunxiaozhai Poetry Collection and Lingboxuan Chant Draft. He has also published over 100 academic papers. He has won one second prize of national teaching achievement award, one second prize of national educational science research achievement award, two first prizes of the provincial teaching achievement award, one first prize and three second prizes of provincial educational science research achievement award and one first prize in the “China Education Newspaper” essay competition, among other awards. He has been honored with the Wuhan Labor Medal and enjoys special government allowances from the State Council.
