Recently, the Business School of Jianghan University has held a series of peer support sharing sessions for Grade 2023 students, covering four major themes: postgraduate recommendation, postgraduate entrance examination, job hunting, and civil service examination. The events have attracted more than 500 students and received enthusiastic responses, effectively fostering a collaborative education environment and providing all-round and multi-channel career guidance for students.

The postgraduate recommendation session invited Li Jialu and Shi Hanfei, two outstanding students with remarkable achievements in competitions, scientific research and postgraduate recommendation. Drawing on their experience of winning numerous national and provincial awards and securing postgraduate recommendation, they elaborated on strategies for competition preparation, approaches to developing research competence, and key steps in the recommendation process, providing a clear roadmap for students pursing further studies.
The postgraduate entrance examination session focused on key challenges in exam preparation. Three successful candidates, Li Zetian, Han Xiang and Li Jia, who were admitted to universities such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology, shared their experience with younger students. They exchanged insights with juniors on goal setting, university selection, study schedule management, mental adjustment and interview strategies.
The job-hunting session invited Meng Haoye, who had received offers from numerous renowned enterprises, to offer practical guidance on resume writing, interview skills and campus recruitment strategies with vivid cases. Counselors also provided professional advice from the perspective of corporate recruiters.
The civil service examination session specially invited four senior students who had successfully secured positions. They shared their exam preparation strategies and post selection approaches, and introduced grassroots service programs such as the West China Program, guiding students to align personal growth with national needs and make informed career plans and choices.
It is reported that the series of sharing sessions held by the school are one of the important measures to thoroughly implement the national requirements on strengthening the employment guidance system and to integrate the concept of "Three Comprehensive Education" into employment work. In the future, the school will continue to focus on students' needs, improve the career education support system, help students move forward and make good plans for the future.
