The three-day “Sanjiaohu Koi” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Integration Training Camp concluded successfully on the afternoon of July 8.
In a bid to implement the National Development and Reform Commission’s major initiative to “stimulate the vitality of industrial innovation” and fully carry out the Wuhan Municipal Government’s “Koi Program”, Jianghan University joined forces with the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone to build the “Sanjiaohu Koi” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Integration platform. Centered on the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent, the platform aims to build a distinctive high-level urban university and further deepen the integration of technological innovation with industrial innovation. To this end, the “Sanjiaohu Koi” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Integration Training Camp was officially launched.
The training camp was closely aligned with the “1+2+5” open innovation ecosystem framework of “Sanjiaohu Koi”. Centered on the “Automotive+” advantageous industrial cluster and the “Energy+” future industrial cluster, it broke down boundaries between colleges, disciplines, and majors, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds in science and engineering, artificial intelligence, business, law, and design. Participants were trained in five specialized track teams: intelligent blasting, next-generation energy storage, intelligent cockpits, embodied intelligence, and biomanufacturing. From the strategic briefing on the first day to the cultivation of technology manager thinking woven throughout the program, students were positioned at the forefront of industrial innovation from the very start.
Over three days of study and deep engagement across five tracks, 48 Jianghan University students, under the banner of “Koi Teams”, completed a full growth cycle of theoretical simulation, field verification, in-depth review and results presentation. Though the intensive training has drawn to a close, the integration between industry and education story of “Sanjiaohu Koi” is just beginning a new chapter. According to relevant officials, the five tracks will continue to push deeper into industry. In September, the “Sanjiaohu Koi” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Integration Competition will kick off, offering Jianghan University students a broad stage to translate their learning into real contributions to industrial development.
