To promote employment, bolster targeted support for college graduates, and ensure high-quality employment for the 2025 graduates, the 11 Universities Joint Recruitment Fair, part of the “Hongzhi Assistance Program” (Hongzhi Zhuhang Jihua) implemented by the Chinese Ministry of Education, was successfully convened on November 7, 2024, in the square of the Faculty and Students Service Center.
The job fair attracted the participation of 62 enterprises, with exhibitors spanning a wide range of industries including artificial intelligence, information technology, machinery manufacturing, and construction engineering. They offered a total of 431 job positions, catering to the diverse job-seeking needs of students from various majors, and drawing the attendance of 936 students. Armed with meticulously prepared resumes, students engaged in in-depth conversations with recruiters, gained a detailed understanding of job requirements, and actively presented themselves for their preferred positions. College graduation counselors also actively engaged with employers, guiding graduates in their job applications. According to statistics, 517 resumes were submitted by graduates on-site, resulting in preliminary employment intentions from 209 individuals.
Many high-quality industry enterprises were present at this job fair, such as Sinopec Jingwei Co., Ltd, Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd, Renben Co., Ltd, and Wuhan Aier Eye Hospital, which attracted many graduates to stop by and became popular booths at the site due to their industry strength and good career prospects. Representatives of the enterprises not only introduced the recruitment needs in detail, shared the industry dynamics and workplace trends, but also answered the graduates' concerns about salary and career development.
It is reported that the Recruitment and Placement Office will continue to carry out campus recruitment activities, optimize the employment guidance services for graduates, and help the graduates of the Class of 2025 to achieve high quality and full employment. (By Liao Guoxing)
