In a strategic move to implement national innovation-driven development policies and enhance graduates' entrepreneurial competencies, Jianghan university recently launched its first SYB (Start Your Business) entrepreneurship training program. The week-long intensive camp engaged over 50 students from six schools including Business, Humanities, and Law, equipping participants with structured knowledge frameworks for venture creation through systematic curriculum design.

The program featured a dual-track teaching model integrating theoretical instruction with hands-on practice. Participants were organized into innovation teams with distinctive names like "Innovation Pioneers" and "Intelligent Future Builders". The curriculum encompassed core entrepreneurial modules spanning business plan development, SWOT analysis, and financial risk assessment, complemented by practical simulations including case studies and operational sandbox exercises. A student-led media team documented daily learning outcomes through video production, transforming course content into shareable digital assets.

"Through role-playing simulations, we gained critical insights into team dynamics and risk management. We came to realize that sustainable entrepreneurship requires both strategic rigor and creative passion", said Xie Zhigan, a student from the Law School. The program's interactive components – from ice-breaking activities to mock investor pitches – enabled participants to develop essential skills in market analysis and resource optimization.

The head of the Entrepreneurship School stated: "This training specifically emphasized interdisciplinary collaboration, with participants from humanities, science, engineering, business and other disciplines, aiming to cultivate versatile entrepreneurial talents. We will further improve our integrated service ecosystem encompassing theoretical training, project incubation, and resource networking to offer full lifecycle support for students with entrepreneurial aspirations".
