On June 6, the "Artistic Path Shines - Jianghan University School of Fine Arts Class of 2025 Graduation Exhibition" opened. More than 200 guests, including Qin Daoming, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jianghan University, Li Weidong, Vice President of the University, representatives from various university departments and schools, all faculty members and graduating students of the School of Fine Arts, and guests from sister universities and industry partners, attended the opening ceremony.

At the artwork collection certificate presentation ceremony, Secretary Qin Daoming presented certificates to nine students whose works were selected for the school’s permanent collection.

Vice President Li Weidong delivered a speech and announced the opening of the exhibition. He placed high hopes on the school and graduates, hoping that the college will adhere to the mission of fostering morality, stand at the forefront of the times, and cultivate more excellent artistic talents. He encouraged students to carry forward the spirit of Jianghan University, seize opportunities presented by our times, and exert their power of youth in the artistic area.

Representatives from the School of Fine Arts administration, faculty, and the graduate students addressed the audience in turn, encouraging all graduates to work diligently and cultivate their craft on future artistic paths, actively embrace responsibility, and shine brightly throughout their journey. During the flower presentation session, the graduate representatives holding bouquets bowed to thank their teachers who had accompanied them through their academic journey.

This graduation exhibition, jointly presented by graduate and undergraduate students, features 138 works of various types, including Chinese painting, calligraphy, oil painting, watercolor, mixed media, public art, and exhibition curation. As part of Jianghan University’s aesthetic education initiative, the exhibition comprehensively demonstrates graduates’ solid professional skills, enriches campus aesthetic education, and, through an open platform, broadens employment channels, bridging emerging artistic talents with social needs. The graduation exhibition remains open to all students, faculty, and the public through June 24.
