On November 11, the 4th edition of the Wuhan Design Biennial was inaugurated in the South Taizihu Innovation Valley Art Museum (Wuhan Economic Development Zone).
Denis Laming, famous French architect, gave a speech at the opening ceremony.
Launched in 2011, the Wuhan Design Biennial serves as an important platform for local academic exchange. This year, it is themed with future design.
30 exhibitions, including the exhibition on historical Wuhan architectures and the exhibition Saint-Etienne, and twenty forums will be held in Wuhan until November 24.
The Biennale will be kicked off in three major exhibition venues at the same time, namely, the South Taizihu Innovation Valley Art Museum, the James Jackson Museum, and the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts Museum.
