OVC EXPO 2017 opens in Wuhan

The 14th International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum (referred to as “OVC EXPO”) was opened on November 1, 2017 in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province.

This year’s OVC EXPO attracted some 500 companies from 15 countries and regions around the world. The most advanced optoelectronic technologies in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, Internet + and artificial intelligence will be exhibited on an area of approximately 20,000 square meters. A forum and 6 special sessions will also be organized during this three-day event.

12 projects were signed between the companies and the management committee of the East Lake High-Tech Development Zone (Optics Valley) after the ceremony.

Since the first edition launched in 2002, the OVC EXPO has received a total of more than 5,000 famous enterprises from over 30 countries and regions and more than 480,000 visitors, held more than 130 high-level professional forums, signed more than 250 projects, attracted domestic investment of 90.8 billion yuan and foreign investment of 800 million U.S. dollars, becoming the highest-profile and most specialized feast for optoelectronic industry in China.
