2018 UK Hubei Music Festival opens in Wuhan

On May 13, the 2018 UK Hubei Music Festival was inaugurated at the Qintai Concert Hall in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province.This event is organized by the British consulate general in Wuhan and the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Provincial People’s Government. Activities such as classical chamber concerts, lectures and music lessons given by master musicians from China and the UK will be held in Wuhan in a weeklong period. According to Nick Whittingham, British Consul General in Wuhan, the festival, as an exchange platform between the UK and Hubei, will promote cultural exchanges and cooperation in education of both sides.
