2018 China International Friendship Cities Conference to be held in Wuhan

2018 China International Friendship Cities Conference (CIFCC) is slated to open in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province, on November 14-16, themed with “Deepening Win-Win Cooperation, Sharing Development Opportunities”. And Wuhan will sign a friendship city agreement with Bangkok, Thailand.

Co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), the China International Friendship Cities Association (CIFCA) and Wuhan Municipal People’s Government, CIFCC aims to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between Chinese and foreign governments, and promote the development of China's international friendship cities.

The China International Friendship Cities Conference has been held every two years since 2008. This year’s conference will be held in central China for the first time, attracting more than 370 foreign delegates from 60 countries, and over 400 Chinese delegates from foreign organizations in Wuhan as well as China’s provinces and cities.

Wuhan has embraced 27 international friendship cities and 82 international friendship exchange cities by far.(hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
